SPRING FLOOR EVENT

SAVE THE DATE: For the Texas Cheerleader ® OPEN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP (South Texas) Scheduled for January 18, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.

Texas Cheerleader Magazine will host 2 statewide championships, one in Denton, Texas at UNT and the other in San Antonio, Texas at the Freeman Coliseum. This competition will include a full day of competition for all-star teams, school teams, rec teams, show teams and special needs cheer and dance teams. USASF Guidelines for all Cheer and Dance Divisions.

The Texas Cheerleader® Scholarship will be awarded at the OPEN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. Amount of Scholarship is $1,000.00.

Nominations for Texas cheerleaders who will be graduating in 2009 can be mailed to: Texas Cheerleader Magazine, P.O. Box 3999, Cedar Park, Texas 78630.

*Nominations must include 2 letters of recommendation from a cheer coach and teacher as to why the nominee is deserving of this honor. Nominee MUST be an active cheerleader (school or all-star) with outstanding academic standing. The Scholarship Winner must attend college the following Fall Semester after high school graduation. Please contact our office with any questions you may have.
